Dorothy Lawson (cello) is a composer/improvisor who studied in both her native Canada and Vienna before completing a doctorate at Juilliard. She toured with Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project, Bang on a Can All-Stars and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and was a founding member of the Rossetti and Roerich String Quartets. Dorothy’s Koch recording of Borodin’s Cello Sonata is a North American premiere.
